So as you know we got a goldfish this weekend but now we don't know what to call him.. 

Here he is having settled into his nice new bowl (plastic crystals and everything!). Can you suggest some name ideas?

This weekend..

This weekend has been pretty random. I set up a blog, bought a fish and bought a domain name to start setting my online life up (a must for my uni course).

I also watched an extremely interesting documentary on an autistic artist called Stephen Wiltshire. He always struggled with communication throughout childhood and at some point when he was about 5 years old he started drawing and soon realised he had a spectacular talent. His photographic memory enables him to look at something for about 5-10 mins and then draw it to an accuracy that has surprised thousands. He has a gallery in London and regularly travels the world to see amazing things and draw them but he much prefers London from any where else.

Goldfish!

I've recently move back into halls with a group of my mates from uni for second year. Having settled in and got everything sorted we decided to get a pet.. (we aren't really allowed pets so it had to be discreet) So we got a goldfish. Just back from the pet shop just now, waiting to set it up in it's new pad! I'm pathetically excited. I've never owned a fish before. I mean, had loads other pets but no fish. We've yet to name him, (we don't know if it's male or female so we decided on it being a boy!) need to wait till Cassie gets back to decide on names. We're gonna get another one next week so it can have some company in the bowl.

First ever blog..

So, this is my first ever blog. I've never felt the need to get one before.. or a diary. Always thought I wasn't interesting enough for people to want to read about me and my thoughts. Now I have to make a blog for uni so I thought I may aswel make a personal one to get used to this whole blogging thing. I'll probably just post about ace things I've found online, or just photos and things like that until I get used to this whole thing.
